In the next few years the growing need for efficient management of huge volumes of data raises the idea of creating a solution to this problem. The challenge is based on extensive research and seeking of innovative approaches.
Thanks to experience gained over the years, in 2008 the leadership of the STS Soft SC adopted a resolution to initiate long-term investment in the innovative software for managing large volumes of data. It was coined a new approach in the engineering of databases.
In 2010 the first public version of the database is announced. It is called STSdb.
